Bamboo handling advice
It is recommended to place items from the Bamboo series by Exotan only in a conservatory, greenhouse or under a canopy. The natural material is sensitive to direct sunlight and rainfall, causing damage and/or mould on the porous material.
Material
Bamboo garden furniture gives an instant holiday feeling. Bamboo is a very strong natural product and also very flexible, which ensures a very high level of durability. Bamboo is very light in colour but can react strongly to the environment, weather influences gradually cause bamboo to grey or mould.
The cushions have a strong outer fabric and the filling is standard foam. This means that the cushions cannot be left outside, so store them immediately after use.

Maintenance
All bamboo furniture is pre-treated to slow down the ageing process. To extend the lifespan, it is recommended to treat the furniture once a year with special Bamboo Protector. Any stains can be removed with a light sandpaper prior to treatment. Protect the furniture from rain, night and winter with a plastic wrap or protective cover. If possible, it is better to overwinter the furniture indoors. Always ensure that the furniture cannot stand in a puddle of water, or that water remains on the furniture after a rain shower. The water will soak into the furniture and show edges over time. These stains are not always easy to remove. Remove other stains with a neutral soap. Do not use chemicals or high-pressure cleaners.
