Our successful Gravure series in a new jacket! This New Gravure TV furniture, from the collection of the Dutch interior design brand WOOOD, is available in two sizes: 100 cm wide and 150 cm wide. The Gravure New tv furniture has three doors with a silent push-to-open system.
Material
The New Gravure TV cabinet is made of ash wood and finished with a warm brown, espresso-coloured stain. The interior is made of black chipboard. The legs are made of metal with a black coating. Ash is a slightly soft wood with a straight grain. The straight grain pattern means that ash wood can be bent well, making it very suitable for the furniture industry. Treated ash wood is strong and hardwearing, but untreated ash wood can show a lot of movement and quickly yellow. Sanded ash gives a neat, smooth look. Brushed ash has more character and band sawn ash has a very robust and rough look.
Dimensions
The New Gravure TV cabinet is 56 cm high, 150 cm wide and 44 cm deep. The three doors are each 37 cm high, 50 cm wide and 2 cm thick. The line pattern on the handleless door fronts gives the Gravure its attractive, recognisable look. The unit features three removable shelves which are also height-adjustable. The shelves create six compartments measuring 18x50x42 cm (height x width x depth). The metal legs are 15 cm high and have a diameter (ø) of 2 cm. Behind each door a circle is milled out for the wiring (ø 50 cm), this is 40 cm high from the ground.
Maintenance
Treated ash is easy to clean with a slightly damp, clean cloth. Stains on untreated ash wood can be solved with an absorbent, clean cloth. If stains are stubborn, ash wood can easily be re-treated. Sand the wood to 180 grit, then protect the ash wood with an oil, wax, varnish or stain of your choice. Untreated ash wood is not suitable for outdoor use.
