The Japandi philosophy behind the new collection by Dutch interior brand BePureHome comes from the Japanese term: ukiyo. This stands for detaching yourself from daily worries and consciously living in the moment. This appealing furniture series is characterised by sleek design, warm wood tones and powerful simplicity. The items bring together Japanese finesse and oriental wood art. These stylish features have been brought together flawlessly in our own factory in Zwaagdijk-Oost, the Netherlands. Pure Dutch craftsmanship with Japanese inspiration.
Material
The item is made of deep brushed pinewood. The pinewood furniture in our collections is FSC-certified and is treated in various ways. Sanded pine is very smooth and neat, while brushed pine is known for its characteristic grain patterns and weathered appearance. For an even more robust look, pine wood is band sawn. Pine is characterised by a light yellow colour and visible flame markings. The black shelves and the drawer walls in the cabinet interior are made from chipboard (fsc) and the black back panel and drawer bottoms are made from HDF (fsc).

Maintenance
This pine furniture has been treated with a 2-component varnish, this is a combination of varnish and hardener. The furniture does not require an extra treatment. If this is desired, it is recommended to degrease the furniture, sand it thoroughly with 280-grit paper and make it dust-free. After this, the desired colour or coating can be applied to the furniture. Treated pine wood is very easy to maintain. Keep the furniture regularly dust-free with a clean, dry cloth. Remove damp stains immediately with a slightly damp cloth and neutral detergent and allow the wood to dry in the air. Always use the basic protection for wood, like using a coaster under a drinking glass or hot pan.
Delivery
The furniture is delivered in two packages and can be assembled by yourself using the enclosed assembly instructions. To protect hard floors, place felt glides at the bottom.
